When one of the following conditions is found, it should be scrapped immediately.

④ torsional deformation exceeds 10 degrees.

⑥ when the wear amount of plate hook bushing reaches 50% of the original size, core and cover should be scrapped.
⑦ when the wear amount of plate hook mandrel reaches 5% of the original size, mandrel should be scrapped.
It should also be noted that the above defects of the hook shall not be repaired.

It is used to compare with the size of the hook after deformation in the future to judge the change of opening degree. Torsional deformation can be visually measured, or measured by steel ruler of the side. When accurate, it can be detected by lineation ruler on the platform.
