 5. When driving the engine with a starter, press the rubber fire-resistant cone of the pressure gauge tightly against the spark plug hole.
 6. Use the starter to drive the engine until it passes through four compression processes. On each compression stroke, a slight pulse occurs in the measured value. Pay attention to the readings of the first stroke and the fourth stroke. Make sure that the battery is fully charged, the starter is in good condition and the engine is supported at normal speed. If the speed of driving the engine with the starter is too slow, it will lead to wrong results.
 7. After reading the measurement reading, pull down the cone end deflation valve to decompress
