Tips: plush toy maintenance

1. Keep the room clean and reduce dust as much as possible, and clean the toy surface frequently with clean, dry and soft tools.

2. Avoid long-term sunlight and keep the toy dry inside and outside.

3. When cleaning, necessary measures can be taken according to the size. For large toys, you can find the filling seam, cut the suture, and take out the special part of the filling (acrylic cotton) without taking it (better maintaining the appearance). 4. For wool/cloth or dolls equipped with high-intelligence electronics, machine core and sound, take out the electronic components (some are not waterproof) or batteries to prevent water damage before cleaning.

5. After the clean toys are dried, use a clean comb or similar tools to comb them neatly along the direction of the fur to make the fur smooth and beautiful.

6. Check whether the five organs and six organs of plush toys are clean and hygienic. Among the unqualified toy fillings, there are discarded plastics, fiber rope, paper scrap, and even shoddy cotton that are explicitly prohibited by the state.

7. Twist the eyes, nose and mouth of the plush toy to see if it is strong. If the frobnitz on the toy does not meet the national standard, it is an unqualified product.

8. For the sake of health, plush toys should be disinfected and cleaned regularly.

9. Simple and easy sterilization and disinfection methods. Steam iron with high power can be used to gently reciprocating and ironing the fluff, which also has certain sterilization and decontamination effects.

10. The decision to wash plush toys at home: for toys with few small parts, it can be washed by 30-40 ℃ warm hand or machine, and neutral laundry detergent can be used for cleaning. For plush toys, cashmere detergent works better.

11. How to make toys not easy to get dirty and prolong their life span? When buying toys, do not discard paper box or plastic bags for the purpose of packaging dust during storage. In areas with humid climate, in order to prevent toys from being affected with damp, desiccant can be placed during storage to avoid overstocking of stuffed toys during storage so as to avoid deformation and damage.
