Chanel Red Camellia, No.1 L'Eau de Parfum 100mL
I really like the scent of the Chanel Camellia series skincare products. I originally thought that the Chanel flower perfume launched in 1998 would be the essence of the skincare scent, but in fact, the perfume only has components related to camellia in the fragrance profile... The scent is completely different. The closest to the scent I've tried is the Camelia plant perfume of L'Occitane, but it's just the tail note of the same Chanel scent. Due to its high cost performance, the scent is quite daily, lacking a sense of luxury. Therefore, I have been longing for Chanel to release a perfume with the same scent as their skincare products!
Top note: Red berries, citrus elements
Middle note: Jasmine, Rose, Orange Blossom
Tone: Iris, Musk
Although the official reference is quite impressive, the essence is actually very simple and linear — only a faint citrus alcohol scent is felt at first, but it evaporates very quickly, fleeting; then, a rich floral scent interweaves with a slight greenish fruit aroma, blended with white musk, overflowing with a delicate powdery feel, which is a kind of elegant, clean, and intoxicating sweet scent of a subtle hormone-like aroma, somewhat like the lazy scent of shampoo in the air after a bath.
Unfortunately, it's just a low-diffusion and one-step dispersed fragrance. Gradually, even if you approach and take a deep breath, you can't 'taste' anything. The aroma of fruits and flowers is almost nonexistent, presenting a warm, comfortable, and fresh feeling without any scent, like sun-dried bedding. However, between gestures, it is unintentionally to smell the residual fragrance.
