4. Rinse the filter with clean water to remove the sediment.
5. Remove the filter spring hook and thoroughly clean it with clean water.
6. Squeeze and twist the filter/cloth with both hands to dry it (when not in use, please immerse the filter/cloth in water to prevent oxidation).

Folding Preparation Supplies
A set of siphon kettles, industrial-grade alcohol, lighters, bamboo spoons for stirring, and dampened cloths that have been squeezed out.
Folding Process
1. Fill water - hook the filter core
Pour boiling water into the lower kettle until it reaches the "two cups" icon mark. Place the filter into the upper kettle, grab the end of the iron chain, and gently hook it onto the end of the glass tube. Be careful not to suddenly release the hook forcefully, to avoid damaging the glass tube of the upper kettle.
2. Ignition - Insert the kettle at an angle - Wait for large bubbles to form
Light the alcohol lamp, insert the upper kettle at an angle, making sure the rubber edge of the kettle rests against the spout of the lower kettle (don't worry, the upper kettle won't fall off). Immerse the chain in the water in the lower kettle. Then, boil the water and wait for the lower kettle to start bubbling continuously. Just let the upper kettle lean at an angle, don't let it get too tight against the lower kettle. Ignore the small bubbles, and wait for the large bubbles to appear.
Three, support the correct position - insert into the upper kettle
When large bubbles continuously emerge from the lower pot, hold the upper pot upright, gently shake it to the left and right, and slightly press down to gently insert it into the lower pot. After the upper pot is inserted, you can see that the water in the lower pot begins to climb upwards... If you have a grinder, you can start grinding the beans now! For two cups of water, use three spoons of coffee (approximately 24 grams), approximately medium grinding setting.
Step 4: Allow the water in the lower pot to completely rise to the upper pot.
Wait until the water has completely risen to the upper kettle, don't rush, wait a few seconds, and then prepare to add the coffee powder after the rising bubbles have decreased somewhat.
Step 5: Pour the coffee powder - Stir (side to side motion)
Pour the ground coffee into the water, stir it with a bamboo spoon to the left and right, and spread the coffee evenly across the water. Start the timer at the same time as the first stir.
Stir the coffee gently, avoiding violent stirring. If the coffee is fresh, it will float on the surface to form a layer of powder. At this time, you need to stir the coffee powder to make it spread out, so that the coffee flavor can be fully extracted. The correct stirring action is to move the bamboo spoon to the left and right, with a "powerful" downward pressure, to "press" the floating coffee powder into the water below.
Sixthly, stir twice more - turn off the heat.
After the first stir, set the timer for thirty seconds, then stir again. Set the timer for twenty seconds, and make the final stir. Then, you can move the alcohol lamp away. Take the damp cloth that you prepared in advance (make sure it is slightly damp), gently wrap it around the side of the lower pot from the side, and do not let the wet cloth touch the place where the alcohol lamp flame contacts the bottom of the lower pot to prevent the lower pot from breaking. At this time, you can see that the water in the upper pot is quickly "pulled" to the lower pot. If your coffee is fresh enough, you will see many light brown foam in the lower pot at this time.
Seven, Completed
After the coffee is sucked into the lower pot, hold the upper pot with one hand and the handle of the lower pot with the other. Gently shake the upper pot to the left and right, and you can easily separate the upper pot from the lower pot. Pour the coffee into a warmed coffee cup, and then enjoy this cup of rich and smooth coffee that you have personally prepared!
