Experiment purpose: Since pulleys and levers are equivalent in their operating effects and have the same working principle, including fulcrums, force, resistance, effort arm, and resistance arm, and both are simple machines that follow the law of work—only the fulcrum of a pulley may be on a shaft, on a wheel, or even moving, and their shapes also differ. Nevertheless, they are equivalent in operating effects, so a pulley can also be considered a lever.
