Treatment Method for Leaky Faucets
In daily life, sometimes we find that even after tightening the faucet, the water still drips, and it drips continuously from the outlet or the joint. However, before the repair, you need to turn off the main switch of the faucet at home.

To repair a leak at the faucet joint, the cause of the leak is usually due to the damage of the stopper tape attached to the part that secures the faucet (the fixed screws). Therefore, all you need to do is to remove the faucet using pliers, and rewind new stopper tape around the fixed screws. Here are the steps for the repair: First, tighten the faucet and then remove it counterclockwise using pliers. Second, turn the threaded hole outward, and wind the tape clockwise around the threaded portion 5-6 times.

Check if the faucet is adjusted properly, and use a pliers to screw it in clockwise direction. After installation is complete, turn on the main switch to test, and confirm if there is still any leakage.

The reason why even when the faucet is tightly shut, it still leaks:

1. The reason for the leakage from the outlet: This is due to the wear of the shaft seal in the faucet. Use pliers to loosen the press cover and remove it, and then use a clamp to remove the shaft seal and replace it with a new one.

2. The reason for the leakage at the bottom of the faucet handle is due to the wear of the triangular sealing gasket inside the pressure cover. You can loosen the screw to remove the handle, then loosen the pressure cover to take it off, and then remove the triangular sealing gasket inside the pressure cover, and replace it with a new one.

3. Leakage at the joint: It is likely that the cap screw is loose. In this case, you can tighten the cap screw again or replace the new U-shaped seal.
