Working Principle

During operation, the processed forage enters the cutting mechanism in a straight line under the direct action of the forage pressing roller, where it is cut by the cutting knife roller mechanism. The centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the cutting roller expels the chopped forage several meters away from the machine shell.

Safety Precautions

1,Before using the machine, you must read the product manual carefully and perform adjustments and maintenance according to the specifications.

2,Before powering on, ensure all critical components are securely fastened, the cutter wheel rotation is in the correct direction, the upper casing is tightly locked, and the safety cover is properly installed.

3The safety protective cover must not be activated during machine operation.

4,If any abnormal condition is detected, the machine must be shut down immediately for inspection. Faults must never be repaired while the machine is in operation! Remember this!

5,When the feed port is blocked, it is strictly prohibited to use hands or sticks to assist with feeding, in order to prevent damage to the machine and unnecessary accidents.

6,It is strictly prohibited to mix iron tools, stones, and other debris into the materials.

7The workplace should be well-ventilated, and fire prevention measures must be taken.

8Proper selection of power (2.2–4KW is most suitable); the spindle speed must not be increased arbitrarily.

9,Minors, those who drink excessively, and individuals with diseases that affect judgment ability are not allowed to operate machines.

10、Before normal operation, please run the machine idle for 3–5 minutes to ensure there are no abnormalities before feeding materials. The feeding should be uniform and appropriate in amount, and overloading is not allowed.

11、Please pay attention to the warning signs on the machine before turning it on; do not neglect it.

Installation, debugging

1,Before leaving the factory, the machine has been fully installed and tested. Users do not need to perform any further testing; they simply need to mount the unit and motor onto the bracket.

2,Just fasten the chopping head unit and motor to the frame at the designated positions.

3Attach the belt, adjust the appropriate tension, secure the motor, then power on the machine. After confirming that the spindle rotation direction matches the indication on the grass cutter, it can be tested for operation.

Operation and Usage Instructions

1,It can be put into production and use only after the trial operation confirms to be normal and error-free.

2,According to the instructions, after installing the main unit and motor on the bracket, the pulley of the chopper and the pulley groove of the motor must be on the same straight line. The tension of the triangular belt should be adjusted appropriately—neither too loose nor too tight.

3Install the feed hopper properly, check if any fastening screws are loose, close the machine cover, tighten the gland bolts, rotate the pulley by hand to see if it rotates smoothly without any friction or collision.

4,After installation, apply a small amount of lubricant to the gears, then perform a idle test. Ensure the steering is correct; once it is, operations can proceed normally.

5,Regular checks should be conducted to ensure the fastening screws are tight, especially those of the cutting and fixing mechanisms. It is also necessary to regularly lubricate the gears with an appropriate amount of oil. If the machine is used continuously, it is recommended to refuel it every 2–3 hours to minimize wear and tear.

maintenance

 It is necessary to regularly check whether all components are in good condition and whether the screws are tightened properly. After each bearing area has been under operation for 1000 hours, it should be cleaned and filled with calcium-based grease once. When stopping operation, the machine should run idle for a period of time until any residual materials inside are blown out, before shutting down. After shutdown, the machine must be thoroughly cleaned and stored in a dry warehouse. If sharpening blades is required, the blade edge must be sharpened straight, and the gap between the moving and fixed blades should be adjusted to 0.3 MM for optimal performance. When replacing the fastening screws for the moving and fixed blades, ordinary screws must not be used instead. Pay attention to proper operation to avoid unnecessary accidents.
