洗衣粉是合成洗涤剂的一种，是必不可少的家庭用品。目前市场上的洗衣粉主要有以下三种分类，各具特点：

1.普通洗衣粉和浓缩洗衣粉

普通洗衣粉，颗粒大而疏松，溶解快，泡沫较为丰富，但去污力相对较弱，不易漂洗，一般适合于手洗；浓缩洗衣粉颗粒小，密度大，泡沫较少，但去污力强（至少是普通洗衣粉的两倍），易于清洗，节水，一般适宜于机洗。

2.含磷洗衣粉和无磷洗衣粉

含磷洗衣粉以磷酸盐为主要助剂，而磷元素易造成环境水体富营养化，从而破坏水质，污染环境。无磷洗衣粉则无这一缺点，有利于水体环境保护。为了我们生活环境的健康，建议使用无磷洗衣粉。

3.加酶洗衣粉和加香洗衣粉

加酶洗衣粉就是洗衣粉中加有酶，加香洗衣粉就是洗衣粉中加有香精。加酶洗衣粉对特定污垢（如果汁、墨水、血渍、奶渍、肉汁、牛乳、酱油渍等）的祛除具有特殊功能，同时其中的一些特定酶还能起到杀菌、增白、护色增艳等作用。加香洗衣粉在满足洗涤效果的同时让衣物散发芳香，使人感到更舒适。

正确使用洗衣粉能提高洗衣粉的效力，最大限度地发挥洗衣粉的作用，还能节约用水。使用前应先看包装，搞清洗衣粉的类型，并根据包装袋上的说明正确使用。一般来说，应先用温水将洗衣粉溶解。再将浸湿的衣物泡于其中，15～20分钟之后洗涤效果最佳。要特别注意的是，加酶洗衣粉用水的温度不能超过60℃，否则酶将会失活（无效），从而影响洗涤效果。
