Working Principle
Biomass press machine is composed of several parts including the feeding conveyor, compressor, and discharge machinery. The compressor consists of a frame, an electric motor, a feed inlet, and a discharge outlet.
The transmission system, pressure roll, ring die, electric heating ring, discharge port, and other components comprise the system.
The working principle is as follows: the prepared straw or pasture for compaction is cut or twisted into fibers with lengths less than 50mm, and the moisture content is controlled within the range of 10-25%. The material is then fed into the feed inlet by the feeding conveyor. As the main shaft rotates, it drives the compression rollers to rotate, and the rollers' self-rotation forces the material to be squeezed out in blocks through the model holes. After cooling (the moisture content cannot exceed 14%), the material is bagged and packaged.
The die-pressing form of this device is a ring die laid flat. Its structural features include: 1) an electric motor drives a reducer, which in turn rotates the main shaft, which then drives the pressing rolls to rotate. This structure is simple and easy to maintain; 2) the radial clearance between the pressing rolls and the die is easily adjustable, ensuring an appropriate gap between the two rolls and the die; 3) the addition of upper and lower electrically heated rings allows the ring die to be heated, which is beneficial for material forming.
